MENTORING

In 2016, I embarked on an unwavering commitment to education in photography, both in conventional academic settings and informal spaces. I have collaborated with various organizations to conduct workshops that use photography as a tool to critically understand our place in society.

My journey into the academic field began organically in 2016 when I started to contribute to the Documentary Photography course at the University of South Wales (formerly Newport). Initially, I engaged in short-term, specific activities, and later, I took charge of overseeing entire groups throughout the academic year.

I view education as a reciprocal process, free from rigid hierarchies, where mutual learning fosters growth and discovery. My goal is to help you discover your passions and interests, equipping you with the necessary tools to develop a long-term project with sensitivity, respect, and professionalism, ultimately enabling you to find your unique way to see and engage with the world around us.
Whether you are in the initial stages of a new project, refining a final edit, or preparing your work for publication in book form, these sessions offer bespoke, comprehensive guidance tailored to support the growth and development of your photographic practice.
