2013
My life as an immigrant began with jobs in restaurants, first washing dishes and then as a waiter. During that time I became known among customers as someone who could provide the best or worst experience depending on how pleasant the diners were.
One of the places where I worked was underneath a somewhat pretentious nightclub. It was in that club where many of the customers whom I didn't like, due to the way they treated me or my colleagues, decided to go and end their night.
When I started photographing I realized that the pictures that I wanted to make were going to be an emotional response to a feeling caused by the people or places where I existed.
